Susan has been in the metals business all her life. Whether sweeping floors to clean shavings around the machines in her dad's machine shop, running the band saw to cut materials for a repair job, loading pallets of parts onto truck beds with a forklift, ordering special metals and plated bars for re-builds, doing estimates and hand-drawn sketches for repair jobs, or managing labor schedules, Susan has been around. For the last 25 years, she has sharpened her skills to meet emerging technologies, and now creates digital images in 2D and 3D for use in rebar fabrication and project management. Her work has been used throughout the western United States.

Today, that hands-on foundation carries through Rhodes Rebar Detailing and Estimating LLC, a Boise, Idaho-based firm providing CRSI-compliant concrete reinforcing detailing and estimating for public agencies, universities, municipalities, and general contractors throughout Idaho, Wyoming, and the greater Western United States.
